Vegetable Tips:
- Mix some Salt or dried Mint leaves or dried Curry leaves or garlic flakes to grains(Rice,Pulses,and Lentils) to avoid pest or insects in containers. You can use Turmeric for lentils.
- Don’t store Onions with Potatoes, as potatoes will rot.
- Mix a tomato or Potato or a spoon of sugar in a dish. They will absorb extra salt in recipe.
- Remove stems of green chilli to keep fresh for longer usage.
- To avoid black color and bitter taste in brinjals while chopping, keep chopped brinjals in salt water.
- Add turmeric, few drops of sesame oil to Lentils for fastening boiling process.
- To retain color of veggies while cooking add a pinch of sugar.
- To enhance the taste of Potato fry. Soak the potato pieces in buttermilk before frying.
- To get coconut out of shell easily break it and refrigerate overnight. Coconut comes out of shell easily.
- To fry onions fast add salt or sugar while frying in oil.
- Roll the lemon in your palm before squeeze to maximum juice.
- Avoid Onion cry, Cut the onion into half and place in water.
- To avoid sticking, always dip knife while cutting boiled potatoes.

Dosa Batter Tips:
- Add tea spoon of fenugreek seeds, yellow pigeon peas while making batter for South Indian breakfast 'Dosa' to get it crispy.
- Add 2-3 tea spoons of Semolina(Ravva) to batter .dosa will not stick to pan.

Chapati tips:
- To get soft chapathi add warm water while preparing dough. You also add little milk or yogurt and oil.
- Mix equal parts of Wheat flour with Barley flour to get tasty chapathi.
Kitchen Tips:
- Always chop veggies on wooden board to avoid knife blunt.
- If you want fried items to be more crispy,Add little corn flour before frying.
Curd Tips:
- Use hot box for curdling milk to get quick curd in cold seasons.
- To avoid sourness in curd, use mud vessels. Mud vessels will preserve sweet taste of curd for few more days.
Spices tips:
- Keep some Cloves in sweet items (Sugar, Jaggery, Sweets) they protect items from ants.
- Keep a tiny piece of Asafoetida (Hing) in chilli powder for long usage.
Rice tips:
- Add Lemon Juice in water while cooking rice, It will make rice whiter.
- Add some oil or ghee to get rice separated with each other.
Pickle Tips:
- Fungus in pickle - before putting pickle, burn tiny piece of Asafoetida(Hing) on coal and invert empty jar to fill with that smoke or vapors for some time.
- Try to add turmeric to pickle while preparing.
Insect Tips:
- Cockroaches in kitchen, use boric powder at the edges they will ran away.
- Lizards in Kitchen, Place Peacock feather they will not enter.
- Mosquitoes and houseflies, in a vessel dip some camphor in water they will go away.
Washing Tips:
- Wet Tamarind + Salt are good to polish Silver or Brass Vessels.
- Burnt or Grease vessel - place an onion and fill water and keep for some time. Clean the vessel with hot water with few drops of vinegar.
Mixer grinder tips:
- Grind some salt in grinder to sharpen blades
